Through Barbed Wire

Warm Greetings.

This morning, Friday May 20, 2011, I was presented with the decision of the Advisory Board of Pardons.  The 5-2 vote against commutation is the recommendation to Governor Patrick.  The document indicates the vote occurred in December 2010, and the participants are the October 7th board members.

Simply stated, I don't believe individuals, who previously voted to support my petition, suddenly opposed it. As you well remember, the 2007 vote was 6-0 in support. I intend to inquire about this process and hope you feel inclined to contact the board members as well as public officials including Governor Patrick for clarity. To assist you, I hope to make available the video of the hearing and the written document of the recent decision.

Please feel free to contact me or my attorneys Ed Berkin (617) 248-2340, and Margaret Burnham (617) 373-8857, for additional information and for further discussion.  Thank you for your concern as well as your love and support.

One Love,
Arnie
